Veolia ANZ is seeking an entry level Technician to join our water team in Bendigo, 3550. Veolia ANZ is seeking an entry level Technician / Operator to join our water team in Central Victoria. As the Technician you will be trained to operate and maintain the plants to ensure contractual requirements are met while minimising environmental, public health, and occupational health and safety impacts.

What you'll be responsible for
6. Assisting with operating and monitoring plant equipment, processes, and systems to meet operational targets on drinking water treatment plants
7. Perform preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on plant assets
8. Learning to troubleshoot and rectify equipment/process faults and alarms
9. Conduct laboratory testing, analysis, and sample collection
10. Maintain accurate records and reports on plant performance
11. Adhere to all health, safety, environmental, and quality policies/procedures
12. Assist with plant optimisation, commissioning, and reporting activities
13. General site and workshop cleaning and upkeep
What you'll need to be successful
14. Enthusiastic to learn and work in a small team
15. Desire to have a career in water treatment operations
16. Interest in operation and maintenance of mechanical and analytical equipment
17. A general technical/mechanical aptitude
