The motel caters to both short-term stays and longer-term guests, making it a popular choice in Albury.We are seeking a motivated and experienced Motel Manager to join our team.Location: Albury, NSWRole: Full timeSalary Range: $80,000- $85,000 per annum plus superannuation.The responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:Managing and supervising all facets of reservations, front desk operations, housekeeping, and room service.Monitoring and optimizing online booking platforms to ensure up-to-date availability, and delivering prompt responses to guest inquiries to enhance the booking experience.Organizing and directing day-to-day motel functions, including guest accommodations, meals, and additional services.Coordinating bar, restaurant, event, and conference activities.Ensuring compliance with liquor, gaming, and local regulations.Managing accounting, purchasing, and financial operations.Providing local tourism information and assisting with travel or tour arrangements for guests.Collaborating with local businesses and tourism operators to offer exclusive packages or experiences for guests, enhancing the motel's reputation as a key player in the local hospitality industry.Supervising security measures, property maintenance, and grounds keeping.Monitoring customer satisfaction and feedback.Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining high standards of property upkeep including overseeing room cleanliness and functionality, supported by a formal quality assurance.Leading marketing efforts, including managing the motel's online presence, social media, and guest reviews, to drive occupancy and maintain a competitive edge.Compiling weekly and monthly property reports.Participating in weekly management team conference calls.To succeed in this role, you are required the following:A solid understanding of motel operations, including guest services, housekeeping, and reservations.At least 3 years of hands-on experience managing motels or similar establishments.Familiarity with industry regulations, including health and safety, liquor, and gaming laws, is highly valued.A minimum bachelor level qualification is preferable.Demonstrated ability to lead a team and address operational challenges effectively.Skills and Competencies: Strong leadership and organizational skills to effectively manage staff and daily operations.Excellent communication and customer service abilities to address guest needs and ensure satisfaction.Proficiency in Microsoft office products.Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting, purchasing, and accounting.Knowledge of hospitality industry regulations related to health, safety, liquor, and gaming laws.Adaptability and problem-solving skills to handle unexpected issues and maintain smooth operations.Interested?Due to volume, please note that only short-listed candidates will be contacted.
