This role is responsible for supporting key forecasting (Strategic Planning/Operating Plan/forecast updates) and stress testing activities (Group ICAAP/APRA Industry Wide Stress Test/ad hoc scenario analysis).Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008Role Type: Permanent, Full-Time (40 Hours)What will your day look like?This role is accountable for:Executing of credit risk stress testing for ANZ’s retail portfolios to support Industry-Wide Stress Tests and Group ICAAP requirements.Forecasting of credit provisions and risk weighted assets for retail portfolios to support financial planning. Monitoring and updating of forecasts on a timely basis.Communication of stress testing and forecasting outcomes to a wide range of stakeholders.Support the development of methodologies and approaches to cater for new and emerging risks (e.g. climate risk).Provide input into the development of a new bank wide stress testing system.Streamline and improve on existing forecasting and stress testing processes.What will you bring?Previous experience in stress testing, credit modelling and credit forecasting.Knowledge of macroeconomic variables and analysis, climate risk and ESG, including their impact on credit risk.Experience in process improvement and operational efficiency, particularly in stress testing, forecasting and risk assessment.Familiarity with Google Cloud and data warehousing solutions to support large-scale data analysis and storage requirements.Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with a range of stakeholders.Growth mindset with the desire to uplift current state processes and the ability to learn quickly.Tertiary qualification in an analytics-based degree (statistics, actuarial science, mathematics, finance, quantitative finance, engineering) is preferred.So why join us?From the moment you join ANZ, you'll be doing meaningful work that will shape a world where people and communities thrive.But it's not just our customers who'll feel your impact.
