About the Role We are seeking a motivated Inspection & Maintenance Technician to join our Altanks Team.
Located in Burleigh Heads, Qld and reporting to the Service and Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for carrying out work activities to ensure that Water Tank Inspection & Maintenance activities are completed safely, on time and to budget.
Key Responsibilities Water tank inspection & maintenance – with all relevant training provided;Installing and repairing equipment and performing ROV inspections for customers;Ensure a safe workplace is maintained and safe work practices are used;Ensure good housekeeping practices are maintained in your area;Engage in Continuous Improvement activities and tasks within your team;Take initiative in a small team to solve complex problems associated with your areas of influence.
Skills and Experience Experience in/willingness to work in a labour-intensive role;Willingness to work in outdoor environments which may sometimes involve working in inclement weather (where safe & reasonable);Ability to read and interpret site plans; Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft office suite;Proficient with power tools;Ability to work collaboratively within a team;Ability to work autonomously and problem solve where required;Ability to work towards a deadline and deliver high quality work within that deadline;Ability to problem solve;Extensive communication skills (confident both spoken and written);Willingness to travel on an ad-hoc basis as required;Current drivers licence; Positive attitude with a passion for growth within the role;Working at heights preferred (we will provided training if required);Confined spaces preferred (we will provide training if required);Experience working alongside tradespeople, preferred.
