The Business Support team within People, Quality and Client Experience has an opportunity for a professional Administration Officer, Business Support on a 12 month fixed term. Reporting into the Business Support Lead, you will be instrumental in ensuring seamless operations and support. This role is essential for enhancing service delivery and organisational efficiency. Collaborating closely with various teams, the Administrative Officer facilitates continuous improvement of communications, documentation, and processes to uphold service standards and streamline workflows.
Duties may include, but are not limited to: Providing high-level organised administrative support.Coordinating corporate travel and conference arrangements, including travel reimbursements.Reception duties including greeting and managing visitors, directing to applicable offices, or meeting rooms.Managing external and internal calls and triaging.Processing payment of invoices.Assisting with calendar management and event planning including the set-up of meetings and room bookings.Preparing and distributing documentation/presentations including agenda, papers, minutes, and action items as required.Adhering to relevant legislative requirements, program guidelines, genU policies, procedures, and work instructions.Maintaining staff files and records including training requirements as per genU policies.Coordinating vehicle fleet as required and as per genU fleet policies.Processing staff timesheets, approved leave requests, and CareLink records each fortnight in accordance with pay periods.Using the Carelink system to generate reports and complete accurate and timely approvals in the system.About You: Our ideal Administration Officer will be able to demonstrate:
Certificate in Administration or Business Studies and/or relevant industry experience.A high level of interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.Exceptional customer service and time management skills.Understanding of account management and document control.Demonstrated high level of attention to detail, approachability, empathy, and responsiveness.High level of experience with the Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Teams.An understanding of the disability sector.Experience working with and communicating with a diverse range of people, including people with disabilities.You will also meet the following essential requirements:
Minimum of Certificate IV in Business or a minimum of 2 years work experience in a similar role.Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain.Current NDIS Worker Orientation Module or willingness to obtain.For You: genU staff have access to a range of benefits, including but not limited to:
