This is a recruitment pool for fixed term full time, and fixed term part time appointments for up to twelve months with the possibility of extension(s). We currently have a full time vacancy in our acute Orthopaedics and Surgical ward at Fremantle Hospital for at least 6 months to backfill secondment, with the likelihood of extension up to 12 months possibly on a part time basis. This role may also be utilised at Fiona Stanley Hospital as operationally required. Job Description: Fiona Stanley and Fremantle Hospital Group is recruiting for Senior Physiotherapists, these roles as part of a multidisciplinary team plans, implements, coordinates and evaluates Physiotherapy services in the clinical specialty area of Orthopaedics and General Surgery using advanced Physiotherapy clinical practice skills. Plans, implements, and evaluates patient safety and quality of care. Supervises Physiotherapy staff and support staff in the unit/clinical area, coordinates duties and manages performance.
Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.
Fremantle Hospital is a 300-bed specialist hospital focused on providing high-quality aged care, mental health, secondary rehabilitation, planned surgeries and medical services.
