Provide technical leadership to our Insurance and Enterprise Technology function Hybrid Working Environment Bonus Flexi Days (up to 5 days extra leave) Sydney (preferred), Brisbane, or Melbourne location About the role As a Technical Lead, you will collaborate with the Engineering Practice to enhance engineering capabilities across people, tools, culture, and ways of working. You will be responsible for ensuring code quality, delivering high-quality solutions, and driving excellence in software and platform engineering. This role includes system analysis, design, development, maintenance, and ongoing support, while also providing mentorship and guidance to junior engineers. What you'll do Lead the technical team through design, development, and implementation of guidelines for Continuous Delivery, automation, and security Coach and mentor engineers to improve their capabilities and ensure best practices are followed (coding standards, code reviews, automated testing) Be the first point of contact for questions from engineers and act as the conduit between the team and Domain technical leaders Improve and embed best practice engineering with a view across people, process and technology Identify opportunities to improve development processes and standards.
