About the Role
We are seeking a Bartender to join our team at Melbourne Skydeck on a casual basis. With a commitment to providing a 5-star service, you will process drink and food orders, serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food, and make cocktails and coffees. Throughout the shift, you will maintain the bar, guest and back-of-house areas in a clean and sanitary condition, ensure RSA requirements are always adhered to, and complete opening and closing checklists to ensure routines are completed to the highest standard.
Situated at 285m in the sky, you'll be serving food and drink from the highest Bar in the Southern Hemisphere, with the best views of Melbourne. At Bar 88, we constantly listen to feedback from our team and work with them to make their jobs effortless, engaging and enjoyable to be a part of.
Working as part of a diverse team, this position is significant in the operational performance of Melbourne Skydeck, focusing on ensuring key business performance and guest experience targets are met. At Melbourne’s top tourist attraction, you may be stopped by guests from time to time to help them with their queries or questions about Melbourne, so ability to seamlessly engage with guests and provide knowledge of the city and its surrounds is extremely beneficial.
You may be required to work any of the seven days of the calendar week, including weekends and gazetted public holidays.
