We have a highly effective pastoral care team that includes the school psychologist, chaplain, school nurse, attendance and engagement officer, student support mentors, and year coordinators for each year group. As a School Psychologist, you will apply your expertise in educational, clinical, and organisational psychology using a scientist-practitioner approach. You will provide direct psychological services to students, offering evidence-based assessments and interventions in areas such as mental health, behaviour, learning, disability, and critical incident management. Working collaboratively with school staff, parents, and other agencies, you will play a key role in enhancing student outcomes through the development and implementation of student support services and programs. For those with general registration, you will have the opportunity to mentor colleagues and supervise provisionally registered psychologists. Senior School Psychologists will take on additional leadership responsibilities, contributing to the development and evaluation of psychology practices and regional priorities. In this role, you will also oversee specialist programs and provide consultation to other psychologists within the school community. Demonstrated ability to apply analytical and conceptual skills to issues identification, risk assessment and analysis, intervention and evaluation.
