Nutriment Health is an Australian owned and operated company providing feed additives to the Australian Stockfeed Industry. With regular year-on-year sales growth and an expanding product portfolio, we are wanting to increase our sales force to assist in achieving our projected sales growth in the future.
The Role
As Territory Sales Manager, your role is responsible for driving sales, building strong, sustainable relationships and to create new business across the ruminant product range throughout Central Queensland.
Managing your territory, the role requires you to travel extensively and at times work additional hours during weekends.

Your duties will include (but not be limited to):
* Deliver budgeted sales target for the territory
* Create sustainable new business in the territory
* Preparation of business plan for the territory
* Work to meet or exceed goals, ensuring delivery with efficiency and effectiveness
* Understand your customer base and their needs while responding to their requirements in an efficient and timely manner
* Collect accurate client information and create strategies to improve outcomes
* Develop strong and loyal customer relationships with stockfeed companies, nutritionists, consultants, veterinarians and farmers
* Organise and attend promotional field days, seminars, conferences and events
* Complete in field training on nutrition, animal health and key selling points of products
* Communicate with other sales team members
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate has a Tertiary Qualification, a minimum of three to five years in agricultural sales or a related field. Candidates with knowledge in animal health or nutrition products within the ruminant market are highly regarded. A strong farming background would be beneficial.
An outstanding communicator, you will be professional and well-presented and able to effectively negotiate and manage strong relationships with clients and team members. Equipped with excellent leadership skills, you are an influential and authentic operator who has great problem solving, time and budget management skills.
The successful candidate will relish being part of a successful team and have a positive attitude to the job. To be considered for the role, it's important you can prove your capability with the following:
* Tertiary Qualifications, preferably in Agriculture or Science
* Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience in agricultural sales
* Proven ability to develop target markets, design and execute sales programs
* A skilled negotiator who shows great initiative
* Exceptional leadership and communication skills
* Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
* Well-presented, flexible, honest and professional
* Excellent relationship, planning and time management skills, including attention to detail
* High level analytical abilities and a strong ability to influence others
* Demonstrated ability to maintain targeted key relationships
* Valid Driver's License (essential)
* Must be prepared to undertake extensive driving
* Proficient in Microsoft applications
* The right to live and work in Australia
Remuneration and Location
A highly attractive remuneration package that includes salary, superannuation, car, mobile phone and laptop will be negotiated to attract the right person for this role. The preferred location is in Central QLD.
