RX Global, a leading B2B event organisation, is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join our team on a 9-month maternity cover contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive high-profile marketing initiatives and shape the success of some of Australia's most prominent trade events.About the role:In this role, you will take the lead in developing and executing innovative marketing strategies for a diverse portfolio of B2B and B2C trade events. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver targeted marketing campaigns, oversee budgeting and revenue management, and ensure seamless execution of event promotions. This position requires a strategic thinker with a commercial mindset, excellent project management skills, and a results-driven approach. You will be responsible for delivering a significant revenue target for the event portfolio and must be able to pivot the campaign tactics weekly to meet performance goals.Reporting to the Group Marketing Manager, this role is based in Chatswood, Sydney with the possibility of combined home/office-based arrangements to have flexible work-life balance.Responsibilities:Develop and execute multi-channel marketing strategies to drive exhibitor and attendee engagement.Oversee campaign management, including email, digital advertising, SEO, social media, and content marketing.Manage budgeting, reporting, and stakeholder communications – PR Campaign/agency management experience is advantageous.Leverage data-driven insights to optimise marketing performance and ROI.Ensure brand consistency and alignment with event objectives.Collaborate cross-functionally to improve the customer experience.Lead and mentor marketing executives, driving team cohesion and best practices.Requirements:5+ years experience in senior marketing roles with a track record of delivering results.Strong expertise in campaign management, brand strategy, and stakeholder engagement.Excellent analytical and project management skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects.Event marketing experience is a plus.Work in a way that works for you:We promote a healthy work/life balance across the organisation.
