Financial Accountant (Electrification Project)ANC is a national last mile delivery and direct to consumer (D2C) specialist, partnering with many large and emerging retail and e-commerce customers.We see ourselves as an extension of some of Australia's most iconic brands, fulfilling the customer promise.Our purpose is to unlock the full potential of a customer's purchase by fulfilling the delivery promise.We do this by being the best at integrated last mile delivery for mixed and complex freight where value is created through exceptional customer outcomes.The Opportunity We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Accountant to manage the accounting, forecasting and reporting of our major Electrification Project.Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will also support other core financial tasks.The Electrification Project (Project Spark) is our ambitious program to roll out Australia's largest fleet of last mile electric vehicles.Supported by a significant funding agreement with Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) - ANC has committed to converting 30% of our total fleet to electric by 2028.The future of last mile delivery is electric, and you will play an integral role in the success of the project.Key responsibilities Track and manage approval flow for any Electrification Project related expenses prior to input.Responsible for accounting for Electrification Project related Profit and Loss items in accordance with the approved Budget.Prepare regular accounts on Electrification Project spend/income vs Budget expectation.Prepare forward forecast prior to each Milestone report.Co-ordinate collection of financial inputs required for Milestone Reporting.Prepare and maintain appropriate records that support external audits related to the project.Work with the Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to ensure that project results are correctly reflected in ANC accounts.Support the Finance Team with other accounting, data entry and admin tasks as assigned by the Financial Controller including but not limited to GL reconciliation, lease accounting and intercompany reconciliation.What we are looking for in the successful candidate: At least 3 years' practical financial accounting experience.Demonstrated ability to work to deadlines or project timelines.A logical approach to problem-solving with an ability to conceptualize and think outside the box.Advanced MS Excel skills (essential).Team Player who is willing to dive in to help out the rest of the team when needed.Self-motivated with ability to work autonomously and prioritise workload.Ability to work at both detailed level and high level when required.Accounting Qualification (CA or CPA) and/or bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or Accounting (highly regarded).Strong communication skills and experience in discussing complex information to a variety of stakeholders.Don't miss this opportunity - apply now!#J-18808-Ljbffr
