The Royal Commission into Family Violence made a number of recommendations about the establishment, operation and functions of the Support and Safety Hubs (now known as The Orange Doors). These access points are designed to make it easier for vulnerable families and children – including victim survivors of family violence and families with children at risk of abuse or neglect – to access services when and where they need them. They will be visible and trusted points in the community offering safe, simple and early access to services and programs.

The Orange Door Support Administrator is responsible for providing high quality administrative support to the specialist family violence program, located within The Orange Door. L17 reports are Risk Assessments and Risk Management reports created by Victoria Police when they attend a family violence incident.
* Heidelberg location on Wurundjeri Country
* Fixed term, full time (until 9th January 2026 parental leave cover)
* Base salary $66k plus superannuation and salary packaging
The Opportunity
This role is required to access the L17 Portal, using the data from those reports, either create or update client profiles in our Client Relationship Management system (CRM) and create daily time sensitive reports to internal and external stakeholders.
* You will be responsible for processing of daily incoming L17’s and creating batch reports to support triage practitioners, ensuring accurate client records in our client data base (CRM) and the creation of client profiles within CRM.
* Recording data on incoming L17’s through the Portal and SIT transfer inbox - daily, weekly and monthly stats.
* Responding to request from Team Leaders, Practitioners and DFFH in relation to L17 reports.
About You
Our preferred candidate will have experience in completing complex administrative tasks, preferably in a Community Services setting and hold a Cert IV or Diploma in Business Admin.
You will have
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and database management
* Organisation and time management is something you enjoy and have a high attention to detail.
* Work autonomously and enjoy being part of a high demand fast-paced program.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* Proven experience in an administrative or office support role
* Experience with client databases is highly advantageous.
