This position requires the flexibility to work shifts across our school and after-school programs each term.Skills, experience, and certificates:Aquatic Educators must hold current Swim Teacher Qualifications.Aquatic Education Instructors should have a sound knowledge of class management, swimming instruction, stroke techniques, water safety and water education, as well as resuscitation, rescue techniques, and facility emergency evacuation procedures and plans.Aquatic Education Instructors are required to attend four Aquatic Education training sessions or staff meetings annually, as well as all compulsory BL training sessions.A love of delivering high-quality, safe, and effective Learn to Swim and Water Safety Programs to children and adults.Supervise the classes to ensure the safety of all aquatic program participants.CPR Certificate.Current Working with Children Check.Mandatory Pre-employment screenings:Pre-employment medical check.Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC).How to apply:For more information about this position please view the position description.
