About the Role
This is a fractional (0.5 EFT / 17.5hrs per week) ongoing position to lead the development of a mental health service within the Victorian Heart Hospital (VHH).
* To address the mental health needs of acute and non-acute mental health care for inpatients, outpatients, or those presenting to the VHH Emergency Department.
* To develop an integrated mental health service that improves safety and quality of care, and fosters future collaboration in research and education on cardiac disease and mental health.
Requirements
* Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Appropriate health professional tertiary qualifications
* Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists
* Working with Children's Certificate
