Job Description
The Department of Education is seeking skilled and driven Social Workers to contribute to the important work of our Student Support Services (SSS) teams. These teams support schools in addressing barriers that impact students' access, preparation, and progress towards achieving their educational goals and development potential.

SSS comprise a broad range of Allied Health professions, including psychologists, speech pathologists, and social workers. As part of an Area-based multi-disciplinary health, wellbeing, and inclusion team, you will work to help build the capability of schools to support student achievement, engagement, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the important work of SSS teams in supporting schools to address barriers to student success
* Work collaboratively with a diverse group of professionals to provide specialised support at the individual, group, school, and area level

Minimum Requirements:
* Graduate or post-graduate qualification in Social Work
* Eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
* Current Australian Drivers' Licence and Working with Children Check
