We are currently looking for support workers in Loganholme and Surrounding areas Position Overview: We are seeking professional and dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our team. The successful candidates will work closely with individuals with disabilities who are participants of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), providing personalised support to help them achieve their goals and live independently. Key Responsibilities: • Providing care following the client’s individualised Care and Meal Plan • In-home personal care, daily living assistance, including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry & ironing • Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes independence, dignity, and respect • Collaborate with participants, their families, and support networks to identify goals and develop strategies for achieving them • Maximise our clients' physical and mental well-being • Monitor and document participant progress and any changes in their needs or circumstances • Maintain accurate records and reports in accordance with organisational and NDIS requirements • Work collaboratively with other members of the support team to ensure the highest standard of care and support • Provide companionship and emotional support Qualifications and Experience: • Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability or Aged Care) • Certificate in Manual Handling • Combined Blue and Yellow cards • Current First Aid and CPR Certificates • Previous experience working in a similar role, preferably in the disability sector • Knowledge and understanding of the NDIS and person-centered approaches to support • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays • Current Australian License and access to a reliable vehicle legal right to work in Australia with unlimited restrictions Benefits: • Competitive salary commensurate with experience. • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities. • Supportive work environment with a dedicated team. • Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. • Flexible work arrangements to promote work-life balance.
