Manage a range of market research and data analysis projects for Charles Darwin University (CDU). About the PositionAs a Data and Research Analyst, you will be responsible for project-managing a range of market research and data analysis projects as guided by the Manager – Market Insights and Institutional Research. This role will provide insights about the drivers of, opportunities for development and emerging risks relating to the student experience, engagement, success and outcomes. You will produce reports and insights about University performance in this area and work closely with stakeholders across the University to identify, validate and measure the effectiveness of student experience, engagement, success and outcome initiatives.
About YouTo be successful, you will require:
Tertiary qualification in statistics, market research, marketing, business or similar with extensive relevant experience in an analytical, market research, or institutional research or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, education/training.Ability to perform and complete all tasks with thoroughness, accuracy, and focus. Demonstration of organisational skills allowing timely task completions and updates and efficient learning processes.Proven ability to analyse large sets of data from multiple drivers and unrelated sources and experience in the development and application of analytical business tools.Proven experience in data visualisation techniques, including the use of visualisation tools such as Tableau and/or PowerBI; along with a demonstrated ability to communicate complex and technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Advanced interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with colleagues across the University; and at all levels influence, negotiate and facilitate the delivery of successful product offerings.RemunerationAppointment to this role will be at Professional Level 7/8. The base salary will be in the range of $93,475 to $118,578 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $109,365 to $138,736 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
