About the role The Placement and Data Management Officer provides administrative support across the Office for Professional Learning and works, in conjunction with other members of the Office for Professional Learning team, to provide effective and efficient services to assist and support students for professional experience. The Placement and Data Management Officer plays an integral role in the student experience, providing advice and support to students, assisting with a wide range of administrative tasks, exercising initiative, judgment, integrity and diplomacy. About you To be successful in this role, you will have exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to delivering high-level administrative support for the Office for Professional Learning. You will be approachable and professional, confidently acting as the first point of contact for student and visitor inquiries, all while maintaining strict confidentiality. Strong data management skills are essential, as you'll be responsible for accurately maintaining records and ensuring information is accessible within UNE systems. You should be versatile in handling a range of tasks, from managing office supplies, coordinating travel, and organizing professional learning sessions to supporting events and special projects. A collaborative mindset is key, as you will regularly liaise with schools regarding placement requirements, support committee needs, and follow up on actions to keep operations running smoothly. You should be familiar with the Education context and policies. A familiarity with university policies and a readiness to adopt emerging systems and technologies are essential, as is the ability to stay adaptable in response to changing policies and procedures.
