The Role
Due to ongoing expansion, the Head of Retail Operations, Australia has been created to manage the day to day retail operations of all Australian locations, as well as Franchisee engagement & growth. This is a senior operations management role with direct reports including HR, Marketing, IT, and the Operations team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Executive Leadership team to execute business strategy, drive sales growth, and deliver consistently excellent customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor & develop a high performing retail team, including operations team, store managers & staff.Foster a positive, engaged, & collaborative work environment that aligns with the Company's values & ethics.Oversee all aspects of retail operations, including inventory management, staffing, merchandising & customer service.Develop & implement operational strategies to maximise efficiency, productivity & profitability.Develop & execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets & drive business growth, including retail stores & multi channel.Manage budgets, control costs, & ensure financial objectives are met.Guide the marketing team to plan & execute promotional activities & campaigns.Ensure daily operational requirements are met, including stock, waste management, quality & on time delivery performance.Thorough understanding of food & beverage costs (COGs), opportunities to improve within the operation, & strong connection with suppliers.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including health & safety standards.Skills Required Minimum 5 years experience in retail operations management (can be at a Regional / Area / National level with aspirations to become a GM), within FMCG and / or Hospitality sectors. MUST BE within the food industry.MUST HAVE full Australian work rights.Proven track record of successfully leading & managing multi site retail operations.Experience with opening new sites, within both franchise & company structured models.Strong financial management with experience in budget management & financial analysis.Excellent leadership, communication, & interpersonal skills.Ability to think strategically & make data driven decisions.Passion for the food industry & a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.Proficient in retail management software & Microsoft Office Suite.Please follow the prompts to apply.
