Your New Role
We are seeking experienced pilots to join our Search and Rescue team, who are passionate about making a difference – with these roles having a humanitarian focus, aimed at assisting people in distress.
As a pilot with the Search & Rescue team, you will command a highly modified modern medium business jet, equipped with the most advanced technology ever to be integrated into a civil SAR platform. You will work with a highly skilled team to ensure each mission is a success.
About You and What You'll Bring
To qualify for the position, you must meet at least one of the following criteria:
* 2000 hours total flying time
* 500 hours total flying time in command/ICUS
* 500 hours multi-engine time or, if less, at least 250 hours turbo-prop time
* Completion of Australian ATPL human factors examination
In addition, instructor qualifications will be highly regarded. Previous experience in low level flying; SAR or surveillance operations will be highly regarded. You must commit to being within 30 minutes of your assigned base location when on night standby.
