Some of the outcomes expected for this role include:Lead and contribute to design discussions and your insights for best project outcomes.Drawing on your experience in flood modelling, flood management and flood studies to carry out technical analysis, data collection, interpretation, relevant calculations for modelling and report writing to contribute to projects across Australia.Applying your technical and commercial input in proposals and identifying business opportunities.Mentor junior team members and lead projects.Identify learning and development opportunities that benefit the team.We are seeking people who are passionate about making a meaningful impact and driving positive change in flood risk management and innovative water management practices. What we are looking for in a candidate includes:A Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering or Bachelor of Science.Significant experience in hydrological and hydraulic modelling (TUFLOW, & GIS).Experience in management of small - medium projects.Consulting or council/local government experience is preferred (preferably 8+ years).Passion for environmental and water sustainability and management, and an interest in the impacts of flood events.Strong report writing skills (there will be an assessment as part of the hiring process if you are shortlisted).Naturally, we look for attributes that complement our culture and reflect our values of collaboration, integrity, accountability, innovation and balance.
