About the People and Culture Logistics Officer – Living Well position
The Logistics Officer within the CRCS Living Well Program has the important dual role of ensuring high-level coordination of rosters for care workers and scheduling of transport services for older people. The incumbent will be caring and respectful and have a solid understanding of how the support enables individuals to live with independence, social connection and dignity.
The Logistics Officer will have a keen eye for detail, be customer focused, highly organised, capable of working in a fast-paced environment and able to negotiate and manage relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. With a solid knowledge of HR, the incumbent will be able to interpret industrial instruments, understand and manage work health and safety requirements as well as a solid knowledge of person-centred practice to support the choices and preferences of individuals in the provision of their care and support.
About the Living Well program
The Living Well Program at CRCS provides high quality, person centred care and support to older people living at home through the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) and Home Care Packages (HCP). In addition, the service provides short-term transport to people requiring transport to access medical services (CATS) as well as a Community Bus Service and transport to people living with a disability funded through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
This is a full time ongoing position based at Trevor Pearcy House, Bruce. This role will be required to work from other locations within ACT region if required for the role.
Some of the duties and responsibilities of this role include, but not limited to:
* Rostering Care Workers to undertake care and support for participants utilizing the TurnPoint software system
* Scheduling transport services for participants utilizing the TRIPS software system
* Supporting payroll processes from rosters for care workers
* Supporting participants to access CRCS Services
* Completing all administrative requirements
* Preparing information for reporting requirements
Additional requirements for the role:
* Qualification in HR, or Aged Care or equivalent qualification or experience.
* CRCS employees must hold a satisfactory Working with Vulnerable People registration and have this with them at all times whilst employed by CRCS.
* CRCS employees are required to undertake a National Criminal History Clearance by CRCS prior to commencing and every three years thereafter as a condition of employment. Employees are required to advise CRCS of any convictions that may affect their eligibility to work or performing the inherent requirements of their position.
