The Role:
As the Metering Asset Performance Manager within Yurika, you will be responsible for leading and managing the asset maintenance function which includes building and developing the team, managing systems and processes which cover meter commissioning, and monitoring meter fleet performance and asset lifecycle management activities.
You play a key role in supplier management, including maintaining relationships with suppliers to deliver products and service that continue to meet business needs. Using your RPEQ skills and expertise, you will lead a small technical team to deliver on asset performance.
So, what does this look like day to day?
You will develop fit-for-purpose asset lifecycle management frameworks and practices which align with AEMO compliance requirements and commercial considerations. You will provide support and manage escalations relating to metering such as commissioning, fault diagnostic, and general technical support services for the NEM and non-NEM metering installations.
Additionally, you will manage the continuous improvement of systems, processes, and procedures associated with assets, including the commissioning and monitoring of meter fleet performance and asset lifecycle management.
With flexi-working and a 9 or 10 day fortnight in place, the bottom of the salary band from starts from $176,846 for 9 days and $199,836 for 10 days + 14.75% superannuation. The level of payment will be subject to an assessment of the successful applicant’s knowledge, skills and competencies that are required in this position. Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Energy Queensland Union Collective Agreement 2024.

About You:
In addition to your Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and your RPEQ membership, you will have extensive technical knowledge of metering in the regulated and unregulated environment. You have demonstrated technical knowledge of end-to-end systems, hardware, and operating systems.
Additionally, you have a clear understanding on the NEM rules and regulations, as well as the obligations we have.
You can autonomously monitor performance management and have a strategic view of continuous improvement with the ability to identify opportunities and implement plans for improvement.
Finally, you are a competent and capable leader, with proven experience leading small technical teams. You can drive balanced results in creating valuable and sustainable outcomes for customers, shareholders, and the community. You communicate and collaborate well, and can inspire those around you to succeed.
