Kingsford Smith School is looking for a dynamic, organised and self driven Information Technology Officer to join their team. The Information Technology Officer will support the school priorities by managing existing ICT assets and systems to meet the demands of changing technologies, innovative learning and school management approaches. This role is vital to the daily operation of the school, supporting staff with the platforms underpinning timetabling, attendance, participation, curriculum, assessment and reporting; internal communications, the school web presence incorporating social media; and our integration with the broader ACT Education Directorate’s systems as well as student and staff asset management. As part of the Administration team, the IT Officer will work closely with the team to provide technical support to staff and students. In accordance with Directorate policies and in consultation with the supervisor, the position requires initiative and independent judgement.
