Calvary - Tiwi Island About the role As the Registered Nurse, you are responsible for providing clinical leadership to staff and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements to enable us to continue to deliver a high standard of care, services, and most importantly a quality lifestyle for our residents. Seeking Registered Nurses for Calvary Home Care and Aged Care to deliver acute nursing in our Aged Care Facility in Tiwi Islands. This position is offered as a permanent full-time role. Key Responsibilities Oversee all clinical aspects of Tiwi residents and community clients based in Tiwi Islands. The Registered Nurse practices independently and interdependently, assuming accountability and responsibility for their own actions and delegation of care to Enrolled Nurses and Support Workers within the program, state/territory, and CCC guidelines. Provide evidence-based nursing care to people of all ages and cultural groups, including individuals, families, and communities. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary health care team to achieve goals and health outcomes for Calvary Aged Care and Community clients. Promote and maintain health and prevent illness for individuals with physical or mental illness, disabilities, and/or rehabilitation needs, as well as alleviate pain and suffering at the end stage of life. What you bring AHPRA nursing registration - Registered Nurse. Full Drivers Licence (essential). Experience in Aged Care Facility and Community Nursing in a remote setting. Acute nursing experience. Ability to work based in Tiwi Islands with other nurses in rotating shifts. Ability to work autonomously. A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation.
