The business was established in direct response to the growing lack of credit in Australia's mid-range property market; a situation exacerbated by the shortage of reputable, risk-adverse, non-bank lenders.Fortis our property development business, has a portfolio of more than $750 million in successfully completed residential and commercial projects, with a further $560 million to be completed by the end of the year.Due to continued growth, Pallas Groups' Human Resources team has an opportunity for an Human Resources Coordinator to join.About the role The purpose of the Human Resources (HR) Coordinator role is to take ownership of essential HR administrative workflows, including onboarding, offboarding, probation management, Pallas Group's HRIS management, and other employee lifecycle processes. It is a great opportunity for someone early in their HR career to gain hands-on experience across key HR functions.Key Responsibilities: Employee Lifecycle Management Managing and owning the Onboarding & Induction process for new joiners, working collaboratively with Office Managers and IT. Coordinating learning sessions and modules in line with agreed schedules and managing completion and attendance. Working with our immigration agent on visa applications. Supporting Senior HR Manager on annual processes such as performance appraisals, remuneration review and office closures Managing employee benefits such as car parks and mobile phones arrangements Managing and enhancing the offboarding process. Coordinate and track probation period reviews, ensuring managers receive timely reminders and all necessary documentation is completed and properly recorded. People Systems & Records Managing and maintaining people data in HRIS and employee records as part of new employee onboarding, promotions, changes, parental leave and departures. Managing other platforms such as Learning Management Portal, Background Check Portal. Identifying opportunities to enhance systems to improve teams' efficiency. Being the key point of contact for day-to-day system enquiries and issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution. Where system solutions are not available, maintain trackers to manage people and processes. Recruitment Support Supporting the recruitment of open roles including job posting, candidate management, phone screens and reference checks. Scheduling and coordination of interviews as required. Team Coordination Providing ad hoc administration and coordination tasks as required to ensure the smooth running of the HR function. Managing invoice coding and approval. Management of internal email lists & email approval processes About you Minimum 2 years in a HR administration or shared services role Tertiary qualifications in HR, Psychology or equivalent preferred Understanding of National Employment Standards and key Fair Work Act entitlements/obligations Proven ability to handle sensitive information and always maintain confidentiality. HRIS management and reporting experience Excellent computer skills including MS Office Excel whiz Attention to detail is imperative in this role. Experience working to tight deadlines, in a fast paced business. Comfortable working 5 days onsite in our Double Bay office.
