A well-established accounting practice that provides professional financial services to individuals and businesses are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administration Assistant to support their busy office and contribute to the efficient running of the accounting practice. Job Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to accountants and office staff. Manage and organize office documents, ensuring records are up-to-date and filed accurately. Assist with preparing client correspondence, reports, and financial statements. Schedule appointments, meetings, and client consultations. Assist with client onboarding, including gathering necessary documents and information. Support the accounting team with various administrative tasks, including data entry and preparation of financial documents. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards. Requirements: Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in an accounting or finance-related environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or similar) is a plus. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and integrity. Positive attitude and strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in an accounting or financial services practice is an advantage. Basic knowledge of accounting terminology or principles is a plus. Previous experience with document management or CRM software.
