The role
This role offers a rare opportunity to join a world-class in house legal team and learn from the ground up. The award-winning and collegiate legal team is highly valued by the business and actively contributes to the success of the organisation by providing both legal expertise and commercial acumen.
Working closely with a talented Senior Legal Counsel, and the broader team, you will gain insight into the firm’s entire APAC corporate business and exposure to its global operations. You will enjoy a variety of work, providing legal support across the organisation, in particular, to the Operations (including IT), People and Culture, External Relations, Risk and Compliance and Tax and Finance teams.
You will work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business to understand their commercial drivers in procurement and provide legal advice on corporate and commercial matters. You will review, draft and negotiate a broad range of procurement contracts, including consulting and services agreements, IT contracts and marketing agreements, and will also have the opportunity to work on fundraising, funds and investment matters on an ad hoc basis.
You are a talented commercial lawyer with 4 to 6 years’ post-qualification experience gained in a respected law firm and/or in-house (e.g., through a secondment). You bring strong drafting, negotiation and verbal and written communication skills. Experience in drafting procurement contracts, including technology contracts and services agreements, will be highly regarded.
Equally important, you offer a can-do, hands-on attitude. You are curious to learn and keen to collaborate across the legal team, to pitch in to get things done in a timely fashion and to juggle multiple tasks.
What’s on offer
