Our client seeks a full-time Assistant Store Manager to oversee the Long Life departments and act as Store Manager in their absence. The ideal candidate is highly organised, detail-oriented, and will play a key role in enhancing store performance, customer service, and staff engagement. Responsibilities:
* Outstanding customer service standards
* High standards in visual presentation and store standards
* Inventory management including ordering, stocktaking & updating of deliveries
* Quality and safety duties including receiving, inspecting and storing of product, whilst also maintaining date and rotation of products
* Profit and loss management, including sales, gross profit and shrinkage budgets/targets
* Personnel cost management, including rostering
* Assist to coach, lead & provide ongoing support, training and development for your team
What our client needs from you:
* Previous management experience
* The skills to deliver on a consistent basis the three key outcomes, full, clean & ticketed.
* Customer service focused
* Ability to engage, mentor and lead a team
* Understanding of supermarket best practice including management, inventory & merchandising
* Excellent communication skills
