About the role
Join Sydney Airport’s front-line operations team and play a vital role in ensuring safe, secure, and seamless landside and terminal operations. In this dynamic role, you’ll engage with internal and external stakeholders to uphold security compliance, maintain terminal presentation standards, and enhance the overall airport experience.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to
* Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging with passengers, stakeholders, and service partners to ensure a smooth and efficient airport experience.
* Monitor terminal operations and proactively address issues impacting customer service, security, and terminal presentation standards.
* Provide real-time situational updates to the Airport Duty Manager and IOC, ensuring timely responses to operational challenges.
* Respond to incidents, including medical, safety, and security matters, coordinating on-site response and escalation as required.
* Ensure compliance with security regulations by overseeing service providers, conducting inspections, and reporting safety and security incidents.
* Support emergency management plans and assist in coordinating responses to significant events and security-related situations.
About you
* Prior experience in a dynamic, operational shift environment with incident and emergency response – ideally within Airports/Aviation.
* Proven experience in a customer-facing role with a focus on service delivery standards and compliance.
* Completion of HSC or equivalent.
* First Response Medical
qualifications
/Senior First Aid (desired).
* Ability to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) and authority to drive airside (ADA Cat 2).
* Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
