About the role: The team currently require a Generalist Coordinator to support the business in the provision service.The portfolio currently includes NDIS, residential services, supported independent living.The candidate will be required to manage oversite of compliance and provide day to day team leadership.The service currently has several senior positions vacant or on unexpected leave and require support at a senior level.Key Responsibilities and Selection Criteria: Oversite of staff working within the National Disability Insurance Scheme business framework.Oversite of compliance with practice standards and guidelines for staff.Coordination of residential services to participants in receipt of Supported Independent Living and Specialist Disability Accommodation.Developing and submitting service quotes to the NDIA and other funding programs.Management of safe work practices including identifying and mitigating risks associated with community service delivery.Managing compliance with processes and procedures in relation to the NDIS Practice Standards and the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Commission and other legislative requirements to ensure sound governance in the delivery of Community Care services.Essential Requirements: Extensive knowledge and understanding of the needs of vulnerable and elderly people including people with a disability and their carers.Demonstrated experience in the supervision of teams.Broad knowledge of the community care sector and its operation.Tertiary qualifications in relevant discipline (Health, Community services, Aged care, Disability) etc.NDIS Practice Standards and the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Commission and other legislative requirements to ensure sound governance in the delivery of Community Care services.To be considered for this role, please apply now by submitting your resume and writing a cover addressing the selection criteria.For further information, you may contact Jessica Abboud on 02 8240 9516 for a confidential discussion.
