The Client:
Our client is an Australian financial services organisation that is currently undertaking a marketing technology transformation program over the next 3 years. They are currently looking for a Senior Change Consultant to focus on supporting the PMO and program leadership team to deliver change management principles across the program. The role is initially offered as a 6 month contract with the view of extending with the program.
The Role:
As the Senior Change Consultant you will work closely with cross-functional teams to manage the functional delivery of the transformation program, ensuring the change is effectively and proactively managed. This includes developing and executing on communication and engagement activities, training plans, and ensures impacted business areas experience a smooth transition and adoption of new processes and systems. The goal is to ensure the change is seamless, efficient, and has a positive impact on colleague engagement & capability to deliver at speed.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide the program/project with day-to-day management and subject matter expertise.
2. Act in a hands-on way with the facilitation of program sessions, execution of pilots and implementation of activities.
3. Delivery of the change work as per agreed plans, ensuring co-ordination and integration of activities across the program/project.
4. Work with team and stakeholders to create and agree forwards plans including allocation of capacity across teams to facilitate transformation training and skill uplift.
5. Proactively identify, escalate (where appropriate) and manage risks and issues with the potential to impact on the delivery of program/project plans.
6. Ability to influence driving outcomes despite competing priorities.
7. Adapt and update process changes in real time to prepare for scaled implementation.
8. Actively communicate and promote the program/project with stakeholders, marketing teams and across the business.
9. Conduct Business Impact Assessment & develop transition plans (as needed).
10. Delivery of reporting and action follow up with initiative leaders and governance teams.
11. Assessment of organisational readiness for the changes being implemented.
12. Building and maintaining strong stakeholder working relationships with stakeholders.
Required Skills & Specialisms:
13. Tertiary qualified with a Degree in Business, Management, Change Management or other relevant discipline (preferred).
14. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of change management methodologies and a proven track record of successful transformation implementation.
15. Demonstrated experience in project and change management.
16. Understanding of Marketing technology and customer communication channels (preferred).
17. Operational and planning experience with commercial acumen
18. Track record in managing and influencing relationships at a senior level in the organisation.
19. Strong consulting, process and group facilitation skills.
20. Experience working in an Agile environment and with the application of agile frameworks.
