About the role
We are seeking a casual WHS Officer, where you'll support a key part of the company’s operations: advising local government clients on WHS procedures. This ad hoc role is ideal for someone looking for flexible, part-time hours, with work schedules varying each week (e.g., 10 hours one week, 5 hours the next). You’ll be focused solely on administrative WHS tasks such as reviewing and drafting WHS documents, safe work procedures, and risk assessments—no hands-on, practical WHS work is required at this stage.
Pay is negotiable based on your skills and experience, with a starting rate around $30–$35 per hour plus superannuation. If you’re enthusiastic about WHS and eager to grow, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. This role offers a unique opportunity for candidates who are early in their WHS careers, with the chance to be mentored, upskilled, and supported in their professional development. Alternatively, we are also happy to hear from candidates who are experienced within their WHS career and are looking to pick up some ad hoc hours.
