This role ensures the business meets its strategic goals by delivering key risk insights.You will develop methodologies for market, credit, liquidity, and plant outage risks, validate financial models, oversee external forecasts, and provide strategic insights through risk dashboards and reports.As a leader, you will collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to align risk activities with business objectives, while mentoring a team of analysts to ensure growth and excellence in risk analysis.Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and implementation of methodologies for market risk, credit risk, liquidity risk, and plant outage risk analysis.Oversee the development, evaluation, and maintenance of risk models and tools used for financial risk measurement and reporting.Design, build, and maintain risk dashboards to enhance visibility and management of financial risks.Provide detailed risk reporting and insights, offering analysis on significant changes in risk exposures.Validate external pricing and forecasting models used for structured products and other risk-related business functions.Actively contribute to risk governance committees, writing and presenting risk-related reports and papers.Provide technical leadership on risk modelling for major projects, including retail contracting and new asset investments.Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with governance requirements.Coach and mentor a team of analysts, fostering a culture of growth and continuous improvement in risk analytics.About the Candidate: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Applied Finance, Physics).Minimum of 5 years' experience in financial risk management, with a focus on quantitative analysis and modelling.Strong analytical skills and proficiency in risk modelling tools such as SQL, Python, and Tableau.Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams.Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.Familiarity with financial risk products, structured contracts, and risk governance frameworks.Demonstrated ability to deliver detailed analysis and strategic recommendations through risk reporting.For a confidential discussion and more information, please apply.#J-18808-Ljbffr
