This senior leadership role involves managing a team of 7 direct reports and an additional 300 indirect reports.
It is a key role within the business leading automation, efficiency and driving strategic alignment and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:Fostering a culture of accountability, proactive risk management, clear communication, continuous training, and unwavering commitment to employee well-being and regulatory compliance.Leading the strategic direction, development, and management of the Operations ensuring alignment with company objectives and market needs.Guiding Management Teams on the site maintenance operations, emphasizing high-quality installation, servicing, and repair of equipment at customer locations to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.Working closely with Business Development Managers to identify new market opportunities and partnerships, driving growth and expanding the company's footprint in the OEM sector.Collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to ensure product specifications are met and production schedules are aligned with market demand.Conducting market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats, adjusting product and service strategies accordingly.Developing and implementing after-sales support strategies, including warranty policies, service contracts, and customer support initiatives.Ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and quality requirements across all products and services.Providing mentorship and leadership to the product group, and site maintenance teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.Delivering accurate and comprehensive reporting on the product group's performance, including sales metrics, service delivery outcomes, and customer satisfaction indices, to senior management and stakeholders.Qualifications:Degree qualified in an engineering or business discipline.Hold an MBA or additional qualifications in business or commercial disciplines (desirable).A minimum of 10 years' experience in the mining, resource or manufacturing industries.A minimum of 5 years' experience in a leadership role, managing product groups of maintenance services.Proven track record in strategic planning and execution.Strong business acumen and experience running large profit and loss portfolios.Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams across different functions.Experience with international business operations and managing global teams (desirable).A strong network within the OEM industry and proven ability to establish strategic partnerships (highly regarded).Business improvement experience and qualifications (desirable).What we offer you:Discounted Private Health InsuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Excellent remuneration, conditions and benefitsIncome Protection InsuranceLife InsurancePaid Parental Leave benefitsSalary Sacrifice options availableBenefits platform providing you with exclusive deals from grocery discounts to fuel vouchers, cheap cinema tickets, incredible savings on tech products and so much more.RCR is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and we strongly support diversity in our workforce.
