Job Title: Civil Designer
An exciting opportunity to learn hands-on while studying a degree in a supported environment to become a Civil Designer.
You will assist in the engineering design and documentation for infrastructure projects in our region. You will get exposure to projects involving roads, bridges, buildings, water infrastructure, and renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Help drafters/designers develop engineered sketches/drawings for various clients using software such as Autodesk and Bentley packages.
* Undertake quantity calculations for projects to aid cost estimating.
* Conduct field site visits to aid design deliverables.
* Be part of multidisciplinary teams delivering project outcomes.
Study Opportunities:
You will study externally through the University of Southern Queensland Australia (USQ) an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering (4-year part-time course).
Qualifications:
Successful applicants must meet the enrolment requirements into an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering through the University of Southern Qld.
