We collaborate with creative agencies, studio partners and specialist talent to grow their production capability and build Australia’s largest and most desirable production ecosystem.Job DescriptionThe roleAs Editor at PXP, you’ll be responsible for assembling video footage into a finished product (including film, broadcast, social, content etc.) that delivers to the high level of creative craft expected from PXP and the creative agencies alike.Day to day in this role, you’ll get to:Manipulate and edit film/video/moving footageTake a brief to grasp production team’s needs and specifications and work on offline editingReview scripts and raw material to create shot decision listsTrim footage segments and put together the sequence of the video - Input music, dialogues, graphics and effectsCreate rough and final cuts sequence of the videoConsult with stakeholders from production to post-production processContinuously discover and implement new editing technologiesQualificationsThe person we’re looking for:Proven work experience with multi-expertise in video editing and stills retouching, and familiar in production and post-production processesProven experience in video production, commercial photography or postproduction hybrid roles within industry.Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packagesDemonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolioThorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuityFamiliarity with special effects, 3D and compositingCreative mind and storytelling skillsPositive, motivated attitude - be friendly and client-facing and able to communicate effectivelyYou work well under pressure and to tight time constraints, and you’re a go-getter with a hunger to continually improveAdditional InformationWhat we will offer you:Be a part of the Publicis Groupe family, recent winner of the Employer of Choice Awards and one of the world’s most progressive and dynamic modern communications businesses.
