About the Role
Drive impact and innovation as part of the NLC's Community Planning & Development (CP&D) Program. You'll play a key role in monitoring operations, supporting strategy, and enhancing outcomes using our CP&D Monitoring & Evaluation framework.
* Support strategic planning, governance, and project management.
* Work closely with Traditional Owner groups to maximize community benefits from land use agreement income.
* Help shape initiatives that create meaningful, lasting change.

The Northern Land Council (NLC) is an independent statutory authority of the Commonwealth. Our purpose is to serve our constituents who are Traditional Owners (TOs) and other Aboriginal people living in their region.
Your Responsibilities
We're looking for someone with expertise in community engagement and program evaluation, ensuring smooth planning, data collection, and solid financial oversight.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Community Development or a related field or an equivalent level of experience in a comparable position.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
* Experience working in an Aboriginal and/or international development context, preferably involving capacity building, governance or participatory planning.
