Internal Audit Manager, Technology & Projects

About the role:
You will lead and conduct audits over technology and data, information security and program and project controls across the enterprise. With a collaborative approach to your work, you will be instrumental in ensuring the effective delivery of the Internal Audit Plan by building effective working relationships with various stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing and leading the execution of technology and project internal audit engagements.
* Leading the review of technology and information security within corporate and operational audits.
* Assisting in the execution of corporate and operational audits including strategic projects and programs.
* Performing root cause analyses for each audit engagement.
* Providing value-adding and achievable recommendations for each audit engagement.
* Collaborating with internal stakeholders to manage evaluations of compliance with relevant Acts, Regulations and Rules.
* Preparing and discussing formal audit reports with Senior Management.
* Following up agreed management actions with action owners.
* Representing Internal Audit in various Technology Committees.
* Assisting in developing the annual Internal Audit Plan.
About you:
You are a team player with a work history that demonstrates an ability to communicate and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels. Your substantial Internal Audit experience has seen you specialise in any of the following:
* Technology Operations – particularly ITIL, SecOps.
* Business Analysis for technology projects.
* Compliance Management with a technology focus.
Additionally, we seek:
* Completion or commitment to complete relevant qualifications such as CISA, CISSP, CIA, ITIL Foundations.
* Demonstrated ability to independently lead an internal audit through planning, fieldwork and reporting, including management of supporting auditors (both internal and co-sourced).
* Strong ability to analyse controls and processes through current state analysis and data analytics.
* Ability and willingness to work with minimal supervision in a small team environment and meet tight deadlines.
* A ‘solution focused’ approach to your work with attention to detail and deadlines.
Demonstrated knowledge of ISO 27K, ITIL, COBIT 19, Basel III, PCI-DSS and/or PIN Security will be highly regarded as will experience in financial or professional services.
