Overview
This role is responsible for leading a small HR team comprising of Business Partnering, Operations, Recruitment and HR Advisory services to deliver the people initiatives and operational HR services that deliver on the HR plan as defined by the Senior Leadership team and Director, HR. The role will form part of and collaboratively contribute to the CM, HR leadership team and the ANZ leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with Senior Leaders in a strategic capacity – coaching and guiding them on their leadership style, identifying people needs and levers to help deliver on their business strategy.
Utilise HR data and analytics to drive HR team and service performance and provide value added insight to leaders.
Oversee recruitment processes to ensure timely and quality hiring that meets budget and standards.
Manage HR Advisory services, focusing on commercial, compliant, and minimal-risk employee guidance.
Ensure accurate delivery of HR Operations and continuously improve HR policies and processes.
Act in a business partner capacity with senior leaders in ANZ on matters such as resource planning, remuneration advice & benchmarking, organisational design and change.
Participate in the design and lead the delivery of key HR projects and initiatives for the ANZ region (e.g. Sales Capability program, EVP) and support cyclical activities as necessary (e.g. Remuneration process, talent review etc)
Play a direct role in the sourcing, assessment, selection and onboarding of candidates for key senior positions.
Build a high performing team of HR professionals across a broad range of HR services including recruitment, HR operations and advice.
Actively participate in ANZ leadership discussions to help shape the Corporate Markets HR strategy.
Experience & Personal Attributes
Broad expertise across a broad range of HR disciplines including HR business partnering, recruitment, HR operations and employee relations.
Current understanding and knowledge of employment law practices within ANZ.
Confidence, credibility and proven track record in operating, engaging and influencing at the most senior levels of an organisation.
Ability to work in dynamic and unclear environments and be flexible and agile to changing business needs.
Sound judgement, decisiveness, initiative and the ability to prioritise.
Strategic thinker with the ability to think critically, propose practical and cost-effective solutions, operationalise ideas and implement plans.
A willingness and ability to take a hands-on approach where needed to get things done.
Degree-educated in HRM or a related discipline desirable.
