The Position
We are currently seeking a trade qualifiedElectrician tojoin our Delta FM team on a permanent full time basis.You will join our small but committed Delta FM team who work on the remoteaccommodation sites.
This role is based across the Cooper Basin camps - servicing the mining villages in the region.
We are offering FIFO from Brisbane or Adelaide - on a 14 days on/ 7 days off - 10 hours per day basis.
Key duties
* Responsible for maintaining remote camp facilities, water treatment plants, sewage treatment plants, generators and handy man tasks
* Prioritise and attend to urgent requests
* Responsible for preparing new installations of industrial and commercial Kitchen equipment
* Perform maintenance and repairs to defective equipment and testing components
* Perform pre-start inspections and keep audit reports
* Ensure external suppliers, servicing and lease suppliers provide a prompt and efficient service
* Respond to urgent requests at site during out of hours/ on call periods
The Person
* You must have a fully qualified Electrical Licence (SA/QLD electrical licence is essential)
* Current Drivers licence (essential)
* Current LVR/CPR
* FIFO experience highly desirable
* The ability to work on call hours whilst at site
* Working at Heights and Working in Confined Spaces desirable
