About the role
We are looking for an experienced NV2 Test Analyst, to perform manual testing activities including Infrastructure, SOE, Applications, Security and Disaster Recovery testing for a Defence stand-alone network.
About you
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
* Assist in the test and change management of a Defence stand-alone network, including
o Design test cases based on acceptance criteria and detailed designs
o Execute test cases and record results
o Identify, raise and manage defects
o Report on testing activities and results
o Contribute to defect management
o Participate in reviews of technical documentation
o Liaise and work closely with project engineers and other stakeholders
* Participate in the change process and advise on effort, test approaches based on risk and timelines.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated skills and experience in:
o Essential:
+ Experience as a Test Analyst in an infrastructure environment
+ Experience in a Windows Server / Desktop environment
o Highly Desirable:
+ Experience working with HP Quality Centre / ALM Test Management Tool
+ Experience working in a defence environment
+ Experience with VMWare and associated components
+ Understanding of change management and agile methodology
o Desirable:
+ Experience working in an Agile environment
+ Knowledge of Networks
+ Experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) using VMware
+ Knowledge of ACSC / ISM Information Security Manual (ISM), Essential eight
* Ability to work well in a team environment, communicate effectively with technical leads & project management and meet project deadlines
* Ability to independently learn new concepts and skillsets and improve upon existing technical knowledge
* NV2 Security Clearance (Highly Desirable)
* NV1 with ability to gain NV2 Security Clearance (Essential)
* Canberra based (Essential)
