$5,000 sign on bonus for the successful candidate!About the roleWe are seeking a mental health clinician with experience in family and domestic violence to support the establishment of the Medicare Mental Health Centre (MMHC) in Wagga Wagga.In this role, work collaboratively with consumers and their family/carers to identify their support needs, goals and develop collaborative care plans.
This role is ideal for a clinician passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families impacted by domestic violence.This position reports to the Service Manager and offers the opportunity to:Provide immediate intervention and emotional support to consumers in crisis or significant distress, particularly those at risk of suicide or affected by Domestic and Family Violence (DFV).Provide high quality biopsychosocial spiritual assessment, care coordination and evidence-based, focused psychological interventions to consumers.Work closely with the broader Wagga Wagga Medicare Mental Health team and external providers to create seamless care pathways, ensuring that consumers receive coordinated, multi-agency support.Contribute to promoting a deeper understanding of DFV dynamics, fostering a supportive environment for long-term positive outcomes.We have a permanent part-time opportunity available for up to 30 hours per week.
