Let’s talk about the role and responsibilities
As a Technical Release Manager, you’ll lead the technical management and delivery of the releases for our customers. You will work alongside a team of like-minded individuals within the DCX delivery community and partner closely with our clients on ensuring the release and delivery of our projects. You’ll be working with our customers to:
1. Lead the technical management and delivery of releases and assist release squads to manage the technical aspects of releases.
2. Oversee the environment provisioning and management for our customers.
3. Lead the DevOps automation initiatives, including test and deployment automation.
4. Engage the customers' security management to review releases and hotfixes.
5. Provide technical advice and assistance to the release squads. Determine the release dates across a program of work and be responsible for the development and management of a release plan, covering the who, what and when releases will occur.
6. Advise the wider Release Management Team on release dates, schedules and deliverables. Perform code reviews of the development team to ensure best practices and agreed standards are followed.
7. Identify and report conflict, risks or issues to release dates.
8. Participate and guide release forums and meetings across the work program.
9. As a leader in the program, work collaboratively to share knowledge and support other areas and assist the Release Team to deliver to a high quality.
10. Be involved in the planning activities, service improvement and other duties as required.
Let’s talk about your capability and experience
What we’re looking for in our Salesforce Technical Leads would be your:
1. Deep technical knowledge in two or more Salesforce clouds (e.g., Public Sector Solutions, Mulesoft and Experience Cloud).
2. Proven experience in successfully managing development teams, onshore and offshore.
3. Experience in designing Salesforce solutions with an understanding of how Salesforce fits into the overall architectural landscape.
4. Demonstrated understanding of underlying client business problems and the ability to develop Salesforce technology-enabled solutions that address their needs.
5. Proven experience of Apex, Triggers, Classes and Lightning Web Components, API Web Services and Salesforce declarative programming techniques.
6. Capability to communicate with stakeholders, whilst also managing their expectations.
7. DevOps (Salesforce DX) experience preferred, including use of DevOps tools such as git.
8. Ability to problem solve, coupled with a tenacious nature spurred on further by something not working as it should.
9. Belief that any repetitive task can be automated with code.
10. Australian Citizenship is mandatory.
