Join Our Team at GOLD Educational Tours! Are you an experienced Payroll Officer who loves analysing data and implementing effective procedures? We want you to be part of our dynamic team! This position starts with 3 or 4 days of part-time work, with flexible days and times to be discussed. Key Responsibilities: Analyse data to provide financial focus with optimism and pessimism to the leadership team. Identify cost-saving opportunities and suggest improvements in finance. Suggest sales financial plans to reach company goals. Process fortnightly payroll for all Gold Educational Tours employees (approximately 25 main staff. During the tour programs, the volume will increase as we will have 50-100 casual staff and 200 -400 host family payments, as well as payments to suppliers on a fortnightly basis.) Issue invoices, track payment status, and follow up with customers if needed. Manage payroll records and reconciliations Prepare BAS and communicate effectively with the accountant for any processes. Provide detailed profit and loss reports the leadership team. Assist with HR tasks, including calculating work hours and updating rosters. Be flexible and adaptable to day-to-day tasks in our growing company. What Skills & Experience Do You Need? Maintain confidentiality of all payroll and employee information Proficiency in Xero and strong analytical skills. Experience in HR functions preferred.
