More About the Role at Stockland **About the Role** The role will support the preparation and execution of strategies that support the planning approval, delivery, and operation of projects across Stockland business units. The role will also work closely with the broader Stakeholder Engagement team to support the preparation of a diverse range of communications related to project and enterprise objectives. Within an inclusive and collaborative team culture, this role requires an adaptable individual who can work independently and thrive while juggling priorities across multiple projects and initiatives. Key responsibilities will include: - Prepare government and stakeholder relations strategies and communications collateral, including preparing briefing notes, speeches, submissions, and letters, ensuring they are tailored to different tones and audiences. - Build a network of key internal stakeholders to support project needs. - Support the Regional Managers in drafting advice for senior management. - Assess regulatory and political risk, conduct research and pre-empt project issues. - Provide support to senior members of the government relations team on a variety of policy and project initiatives. - Contribute to the execution of stakeholder and industry events, including all related internal and external communications collateral. **About You** You are a collaborative and motivated communication or stakeholder relations professional with a keen interest in the property industry. Ideally, you will have previous experience working in government, stakeholder engagement roles, and/or corporate communications in a property sector, infrastructure, or consulting environment. You will have a growth mindset and a strong desire to develop as a government relations subject matter expert. Additionally, you will have the following skills, experience, and attributes: - Demonstrated experience in the delivery of stakeholder engagement or communication strategies. - Understanding of the complexity of stakeholder environments relating to property, infrastructure, or other land-use projects. - Demonstrated capability to work on multiple and complex projects in a fast-paced environment. - Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with an ability to manage and communicate with internal stakeholders. - Ability to plan and execute a variety of events and initiatives, working autonomously to set deadlines. - Tertiary qualification in relevant industry
