About the Role
One of clients from the NSW government agency is looking for a Senior Project Officer (Social Media) to join their team in North Sydney NSW. This position involves plan, manage, monitor, and evaluate the delivery of social media and communication activities in AOD prevention, health promotion, treatment, education, special projects, and harm minimisation to the people.
Your expertise will contribute to the achievement of organizational goals and the overall success of the organisations.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Managing the Your Room website and social media channels such as Facebook and Twitter. You will be expected to propose and develop creative ideas for editorial and social media content, maintaining a strategic content calendar for articles, posts, and events.
2. Working collaboratively within a team, creating engaging communication articles, e-newsletters, and activity proposals to promote audience interaction, increase online presence, and drive traffic to the Your Room website.
3. Optimizing content for search engines (SEO) and implementing paid social media campaigns (PPC).
4. Monitoring and growing social media networks, as well as analysing audience data and project success using tools like Google Analytics and Data Studio, will be essential.
5. Coordinate communication activities with key stakeholders, including the Ministry of Health marketing and social media teams.
What you’ll need to succeed
6. A relevant tertiary qualification and/or experience in a Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing role with a specific focus on social media and content marketing
7. Ability to write, research, proofread and edit for media, publications, websites, and social media.
8. Proven ability to work both autonomously and cooperatively as part of a busy team.
9. Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
