Let’s talk about the role:
We are looking for an APAC Account Manager who thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments and is driven to make a difference. This is a full-time role based within our dynamic APAC team, reporting directly to the Head of APAC. Managing a portfolio of our biggest retail customers (Baby Bunting, Big W, David Jones) as well as online marketplaces and our APAC distributors, you have the chance to directly influence the growth and success of the Love to Dream brand in a highly collaborative and fast-evolving market.
You’ll be at the forefront of accelerating our regional performance and adapting to the changing landscape, ensuring we remain ahead of the curve while continuously exceeding consumer expectations.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
* Be a Key Partner: Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers across APAC markets, acting as the main point of contact and driving effective communication to ensure needs are consistently met.
* Drive Growth: Implement impactful go-to-market, product, and pricing strategies, aligned with our ambitious growth targets. You’ll be responsible for crafting strategies that directly impact our bottom line—boosting both revenue and market presence.
* Maximize Profitability: Leverage your analytical skills to monitor customer profitability and identify actionable opportunities for growth. Analyse data like sell-in and sell-out metrics to ensure optimal returns and implement strategies that fuel commercial success.
* Negotiate Smart Deals: Take charge of negotiating and managing commercial agreements with retailers and distributors. Ensure all agreements are up-to-date and compliant, while securing mutually beneficial outcomes.
* Own KPIs & Financial Impact: Your performance will directly shape our success in the APAC region, with KPIs focused on revenue, gross profit, share of shelf, and new channel development.
* Leverage Insights: Analyse sell-out data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and provide regular, data-driven reports to senior management to inform key strategic decisions.
Let’s talk about you - Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and experience:
* A successful track record in managing Retail/Wholesale/Online customers in the Consumer Goods/FMCG space. Experience in managing distributors in international/APAC markets would be highly regarded.
* Results-Driven Leadership: A proven track record in a similar role (Channel/National/Export Lead), where you’ve demonstrated your ability to drive sales strategy and increase sell-in and sell-out growth.
* A Numbers Guru: You have a sharp eye for analysing data and identifying growth opportunities. You know how to leverage this information to execute effective sales strategies. You must be highly analytical and extremely data driven. Experience in Power BI and Netsuite is ideal.
* Customer-Focused: You’re passionate about understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions that drive success for both parties.
* Exceptional Negotiator: You excel at negotiating and securing commercial agreements while maintaining positive, long-term client relationships.
* Entrepreneurial Spirit: You’re a self-starter, always seeking ways to innovate and improve, with a keen focus on solutions and results.
* Multitasker & Prioritiser: You can juggle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment without losing sight of key objectives.
* Adaptability: You thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment, embracing new responsibilities and challenges as they arise.
