Job Description
Their Sydney office is growing rapidly, securing high-profile engagements with multi-national technology clients. They are now seeking a Senior / Quantity Surveyor to join our Data Centre team. With significant projects underway and more in the pipeline, they are looking for an experienced SQS who has managed Data Centre projects or similarly complex and mission-critical sites.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors
2. Identify and facilitate new business opportunities
3. Prepare master-plan and feasibility budgets
4. Conduct cost checking and value engineering during design development
5. Perform tender evaluations, analysis, and contract negotiations
6. Forecast and manage cash flows
7. Oversee procurement processes
8. Deliver accurate cost reporting and final account reporting
9. Prepare, negotiate, and settle claims
10. Conduct investment analyses and benchmarking to improve cost modelling
Qualifications:
1. Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction
2. Proficiency in cost estimating and planning software, particularly Cost X
3. Demonstrated experience winning and managing major projects
4. Proven ability to manage mission-critical or similarly complex projects
